David has just returned from holding a 3-day revival conference in Dneprozherzhensk, East Ukraine. Driving out of Kiev, passing military supply conveys on their way to the war zone, 7 hours on poor roads to the destination, we found a people hungry for God, looking to Jesus as their only hope.

In the last year investment has dried up, energy prices soared by 100%, people and businesses facing bankruptcy. Once again the old Security and Thought Police are active in a nation torn between Russia and Ukraine, so many families are torn apart being of both Russian and Ukrainian heritage. Even individuals torn apart in their own hearts because they are of both Russian and Ukrainian parents.

David said to the congregation: 'You're in a tremendous crisis in Ukraine - we're living in the last days before Christ returns, we should be living in the prophecy of Joel - we should expect and believe that the greatest miracles will happen now. If the war does nothing else but drive us to our knees, it could turn the nation back to God and bring a powerful revival.'

The evangelism was packed out, people standing in the aisles throughout the service - this despite the appalling rain and flooding they had to battle through to get there. The people flooded forward to receive Christ and there were many outstanding healings.

Ukraine, June 2015
In June David held a series of services in Dneprozherzhensk, Ukraine. Dneprozherzhensk is five hours from Kiev, and only 158 miles from Donetsk, the epicentre of the conflict. It is an industrial city in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast of Ukraine, and a port on the Dnieper River. It has a population of 241,880 (2013).

The conflict in Ukraine has entered its second year, and a ceasefire, nominally in place since February, has failed to stop the violence, with each side accusing the other of breaking the agreement.

Because of the conflict and divisions within the nation and families, the people are desperate for an answer, for peace, for Jesus.
