In February David held ten days of ministry in Ukraine. The meetings were in preparation for a National Day of Prayer to be held in Kiev, 18 June. Speaking in one of the churches, David said, "I'm challenging you to learn how to pray. There are tanks in Ukraine, but you have a powerful God who can stop the war in answer to prayer. When you know God, when you believe His Word, nothing is impossible."

Ukraine is in crisis - war on its eastern borders, families and churches divided along ethnic lines, corruption in the government - only prayer can change the destiny of the nation. The Bible says, 'If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.' God is not talking to the unbeliever; He is telling the believers that the responsibility is on them to repent on behalf of the nation, to pray for peace and forgiveness - God will hear their prayer! The Apostle Paul taught in 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 that we have been given the message of reconciliation, reconciling men with God and with each other!
