God can save to the uttermost

'Who sinned?' - Who is responsible for this man's blindness and misfortune, was the accusatory question asked by the disciples in John 9. We have to recognise the actuality of sin. The reason Jesus said the blindness was not caused by this man's sin nor his parent's sin, was because everyone has sinned. The Bible says we have all sinned. Yes, I have sinned - you have sinned - sin is in all of us. We are born into a world of sin. Jesus didn't come to punish us for our sin but to provide a way out of sin into a new life.

When we switch on the news and see all the terrible conflicts and wars around the world, we all ask, Why? - Why are all these wars fought? Why do so many die in these needless battles? I want to tell you, if miracles of healing are the evidence of God; if the miracles of the blind seeing and cancers healed are the evidence of Jesus, war is the consequence of the devil. It is that wickedness in the world, it is that evil which infects the heart of man, which causes people to die: this is from the devil. Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God our Father, but the devil only seeks to kill and destroy.

Today we are in a spiritual battle. Will you serve the devil or Jesus Christ? I want you to come to Jesus Christ. He will not only open your eyes, take away your pain, but He will forgive your sin. The message for today is of forgiveness. God loves you. He wants to set you free. God wants to bless you. The Bible teaches that Jesus is able to save to the uttermost all those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them' (Hebrews 7.25).
