On 21 April 2019, almost 200 food packages were distributed to displaced persons and families living in Kiev. Representatives of David Hathaway’s Ministry in Ukraine, working with Philadelphia Church, invited them to this special Easter celebration. The Ministry has actively been supporting needy individuals since the start of the armed conflict with Russia in East Ukraine, April 2014.
On Wednesday 13 February, representatives from David Hathaway’s Ministry met with the President of Ukraine. The meeting was organised by his administration and held in the Bible House. This was the first time in the history of Ukraine that a serving President has visited the Ukrainian Bible Society.
On Saturday 26 January, 3000 people gathered with David Hathaway for a Day of Prayer for Britain, in The SSE Arena, Wembley. In addition, there were over 100,000 streams on David's YouTube and Facebook pages, and on GOD TV and Revelation TV social media pages [within the first seven days after the event], as prayer groups and individuals participated from around the world.
On 1 December 2018, David Hathaway held a Day of Prayer and evangelism in Lithuania. To see the exhibition hall filled with hundreds meeting to pray for their nation was an encouraging beginning. The response has encouraged us enough to believe that next year we can take the Siemens Arena, which we filled 10 years ago for evangelism, and see 12,000 including Catholics, pray with us.
9-12 November: David was the speaker at an All-Ireland FGB Convention in Newry, County Armagh. For 20 years during the Troubles a frontline town and military zone with a large garrison - a place to be shunned - today Newry in Northern Ireland is a boom city. The Convention was attended by delegates from North and South, catholic, protestant, evangelical, charismatic.
