On 14 & 15 July, David ministered in Vanadzor, Armenia. More than 1000 attended the conference, travelling from all over the country, including from Karabakh, the disputed territory in the East. Having spent 70 years under strict communist control as part of the Soviet Union, Armenia today is bordered on the east by actively aggressive Central Asian Moslem countries (Azerbaijan in particular); to the west is the Turkish dream of a re-established Ottoman Empire. It was an honour to strengthen the faith of Christian Armenians. In 301 AD, Armenia was the first nation state to declare itself as a Christian country.
