During this year of pandemic and economic collapse, we have continued our ministry in Israel to the elderly Russian-speaking Holocaust Survivors, former prisoners of the Ghettos and their descendants. Over many years our Israeli co-workers have built a strong relationship with this very needy group, who overnight became ‘prisoners’ in their own apartments, even the simple road to the local shop now a dangerous and stressful trip for them. With new cases of infection constantly coming in, the atmosphere of fear and panic grew.
With hearts of love, our volunteer staff members in Israel are passionate to help these housebound seniors defeat distress and loneliness. God is our Deliverer and our Strength, who provides His Chosen People with everything they need! With such faith, they bring essential products and goods, reaching the hearts of the people, encouraging them and serving them in the peace that Jesus gives, and in constant prayer.
The number of needy people our teams visit is rapidly growing. If there were no financial limitations, we could minister to so many more with practical support and spiritual care! The work that is done every day has been done with God’s support and by His mercy! We thank you, our donors too, because your prayers and your support enable our storehouses in Israel to be replenished. It is the Grace of God that we have the government’s permission to do this voluntary work, share the humanitarian aid and spread the Gospel among Holocaust Survivors.
Many of these precious people see God’s miracles in their lives: as our teams minister to them, they witness healings, kindness, love and the Power that is in Jesus’ Name, and they praise the Lord for that! Thank you again for your precious support and prayers!
