We start the new year with hope and praise for God’s faithfulness, and the many great opportunities He has given us to serve those in need. So far this year, we have been able to visit and support many more people than we imagined possible. Because of Israel relaxing the strict quarantine rules, we could again commence face-to-face meetings with Russian Holocaust Survivors.
Before meeting with these survivors, we always pray for our visits, asking the Holy Spirit to bring His joy, hope and salvation. And God works marvellously! At the start of the visits, so many are frustrated and stressed, yet when we begin to pray and sing together, Jesus renews their spirits.
Despite all the quarantine measures, we were able to continue sharing food hampers, and where appropriate, food cards. Our staff in Israel are always ready to help. They buy all the necessary products and essentials for the elderly.
Because of your generosity, the Holocaust Survivors and former Prisoners of the Ghettos, have hearts filled with gratitude and love for all they have been given. They abound with hope when seeing that God continues to send His servants to care for them.
