Ministry in Central Asia October 2021

Ministry in Central Asia October 2021

From 30 September to 11 October, by Divine appointment, I was in Central Asia – evangelising! My heart burns with a vision for Central Asia - this is God's desire to see His glory displayed in countries filled with false religion. I sense 2021 and beyond will prove to be as significant as 30 years ago when the Lord Himself opened the former Soviet Union for the preaching of the Gospel, from one side to the other, across 10 time zones. Now something as great, no greater, than the revival that took place in the 1990s, is opening up to me – a new Mission Field – the whole of the former Soviet countries of Central Asia.

As Israel celebrated Yom Kippur and Sukkot, our representatives in Israel opened the Scriptures with the Russian Holocaust Survivors and former prisoners of the ghettos, sharing how Jesus is the fulfilment of these Old Testament prophecies, that the Scriptures ‘are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.’ (John 20:31.)

Our Ministry supports the Holocaust survivors and former prisoners of ghettoes and concentration camps not only with words but in deeds. Thousands of them receive food cards that can be used in supermarkets for groceries. Due to the lack of government provision, most of the seniors we care for, do not have enough finances to buy essential items for their households. That is why very important to continue sharing the love of Jesus in Word and Deed.

Ministry in Poland August 2021

During August, David Hathaway visited Poland in preparation for large-scale evangelism in 2022. He spoke in a Protestant Church opened for the converts of his previous evangelism in 2012. Because the leading Catholic Bishop who invited David in 2014 is now Head of the Catholic Church in Poland and David was again his guest this time, he was the first ever Protestant to be invited to evangelise in the centre of Krakow during a March for Jesus in the town! David also recorded several interviews for Polish National TV, as well as a very long, exciting interview for the Polish Catholic YouTube Channel.

National Day of Prayer for Ukraine Report

Preparations for the National Day of Prayer for Ukraine, which was miraculously held on 12 June, began two years ago. Due to the challenges of the global pandemic, it was the most difficult event we have held. Working under total uncertainty of what will happen or even whether the Ukraine government would even finally allow the event to be held, and if held, what restrictions would be imposed.
