Blessed are those who believe

Blessed are those who believe; though you do not see Him, you trust Jesus, and rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. Even though you can't see Jesus, even though you can't touch Him, you can talk to Him through prayer. Jesus is as close to you as the words on your lips. Jesus said, 'Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed' - there is a blessing upon those who believe.

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29, NIV)

There was a problem, the disciples could not heal the boy. When the father brought his son first to the disciples, they could not deliver him from this terrible thing. So now the father is saying, “Jesus, Your disciples couldn’t do it!” Jesus said, “You are a generation without faith. It is alright while I am here, but you have got to trust Me when I am not here.” (Mark 9:17-19.) - That is what we need to understand, even if we can’t see Jesus, even though we can’t touch Him, we can talk to Him anytime, all day, every day. There is never a moment when He is unavailable or unwilling to listen. I’ll tell you how close Jesus is to you right now: Jesus is only a prayer away from you.

For indeed the Gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. (Hebrews 4:2, NKJV)

I want you to trust God. I want you to believe in Him. I want you to believe the promises of God’s Word. Lets start at the beginning. The Bible says, God sent His Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved. God does not condemn you. God wants to deliver you. God wants to get rid of the demon of alcohol. The demon of drugs. The demon of unbelief. The demon of fear. He wants to forgive you. He wants to bless you. He wants to deliver you. He wants to set you free.

Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (John 6:28-29, NKJV)
