Live in the promises of God

Live in the joy of your inheritance through Jesus. Your Father has promised you miracles of healing; joy unspeakable; He has promised you the Kingdom. Live in the blessing of God; enjoy the abundance of Christ.

By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvellous glory and excellence. And because of His glory and excellence, He has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share His divine nature.
— 2 Peter 1:3-4, NLT

Do you know the promises of God? Have you seen the promises of God? Open your eyes to them. Before I read the Bible, I say, "Lord, open my eyes", then I see more in this Bible than other people do. I become spiritually rich. I become full. Because I am living on the Word of God, and the promises of God, and the power of God. I want you to see it. I want you to take it. When Moses sent the twelve spies into the Promised Land, they all saw how wonderful it was. You can see the wonderful promises too and live a blessed life in Christ.

When I used to be a pastor, I would visit a man in my town. He was the poorest man in town. He lived in a little filthy house. He had no wife. No children. It seemed he had no money. No food. The chairs were broken. I couldn't sit down, because when you sat on them you would fall to the floor. He offered me some tea. I couldn't drink it. The cups hadn't been washed for months. Everywhere was thick in dust and grim. His clothes were so dirty and old. I wanted to find him clothes and give food to him. Then I began to talk to him. I discovered this man had money beyond your dreams. He had hundreds of thousands of dollars; money in every bank; investments in gold mines and oil; he had so much, but he didn't enjoy it. The money was in the bank. The money was in the investments. But he lived in poverty. Yet he was rich beyond my dreams. Rich beyond your dreams. So many Christians live like that. You live in spiritual poverty: always sick; always miserable; always hungry; but your Father is rich. Your Father owns all the wealth in the world. Your Father has promised you miracles of healing; joy unspeakable. He has promised you the world. Live in the joy of your inheritance. It is yours through Christ. Take it. Live in it. Enjoy it.
