The unknown God, the God we don’t know, He is the living God: as the Apostle Paul taught, in Him we live and move and have our being. Even though we don’t know Him, we ourselves are fully known by Him. We are His children; His breath fills our lungs; we are made in His image.
The Unknown God
Everything we have: our joy, peace, and health; every blessing is ours through Christ. Without Him we have nothing. But through Jesus, every good and perfect gift becomes ours. For many, Jesus is unknown. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation; the Good News of the Kingdom; to share with an unbelieving world.
Jesus loves you
God works miracles today
God is love
God is love. He created love. He gives love. God loves you. The Bible says, ‘This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.’ (1 John 4:9-12)
When we don't know how to pray
Diagnosed with throat cancer in 1964, I faced a crisis in my life. I found myself constantly praying the same thing: "O God, I know You can heal, because of all the evidence of Your Word, as well as the other miracles which I have seen with my own eyes. But ... the problem is ... You can ... if You want to ... Is it Your will to heal me? All I am asking for is a positive yes or no." I picked up my Bible and read from Romans 8 verse 26, "We know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us ... according to the will of God." That was it! It came with certainty to me that God had said yes. I would be healed by a miracle.
A God who changes lives
Freedom through forgiveness
Forgive and you will be forgiven; set others free from their trespasses & your heavenly Father will also set you free. We must forgive, as we hope to be forgiven. Those who desire to find mercy with God, must show mercy to their brethren. Christ came into the world as the great Peace-maker, not only to reconcile us to God, but one to another.
The miracle of God's love
The miracle of God’s love is forgiveness. The Scripture teaches as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ‘Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are your accusers? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, Lord,” she answered. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Now go and sin no more.”’ (John 8:10-11)
The Gift of Sight
‘Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in Your law (Psalm 119.18, NIV). One of the greatest gifts God has given us is the gift of sight. When Jesus saw the man born blind in John 9, He was moved with compassion. This man had never seen the blue sky or the beauty of flowers. His life was spent in darkness. But that day Jesus restored his sight.
