Dear Friends and Prayer Partners
We are facing dangerous new realities. On 20th February, I sent out an urgent prayer email, this was before the disastrous meeting in the White House on the 28th. This is what I wrote before that meeting – how prophetic: ‘You are all aware of the situation in Ukraine. Unfortunately, this has now taken a serious and dangerous turn. Trump has now allied with Putin against Kyiv and is no friend of Europe.’
Since my prayer email, I have been fasting and praying for a solution to the crisis in Ukraine, both before that meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy, and since. Though it looked to be a disastrous meeting and a public humiliation of Zelenskyy on the world stage – ‘good television’ as Trump called it – I believe that God can use even this to fulfil His purposes. Let me explain: With me the Lord has several times used serious and disastrous problems in my life to work miracles – in particular both times I had cancer and my painful time in prison – He used these to work mighty miracles, making them into major turning points in my life. And God can do the same now with Ukraine.
Three things I know about the Lord – He answers prayer – He works miracles – He cannot fail. As Balaam confessed, God does what He says! No other nation has prayed as Ukraine has for deliverance. I had a long talk with the Lord this last Sunday morning as to how He will save Ukraine by a miracle, WITHOUT using Donald Trump who would love to boast of his success!
I really need your support and prayer as I am travelling to Ukraine for prayer and evangelism – on the frontline – leaving on March 18th and returning on the 26th. God’s timing is always perfect – this was planned months ago. God cannot be defeated!
As you receive this I will be on my way. But this now needs much prayer with the very negative actions now being taken and followed through by Trump’s America. Only prayer can save the situation. We must pray that the Russian army will finally be defeated – it is already on its knees – and that God will deal with Putin and remove him from power – as I prophesied only days before they illegally and without provocation launched their massive invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
On the frontline in a few days’ time, I will be praying and evangelising as usual, nothing will stop me. I take the situation very personally as a challenge: if Russia wins and Ukraine is defeated, God is mocked, prayer is powerless and for the first time in 6,000 years God’s power is defeated in a war situation. I began to organise United Prayer in Ukraine in 2015, immediately after Russia’s 2014 invasion, with a promise from God’s Word – so I take this situation as a ‘David and Goliath’ challenge! Who will stand up to the giant that defies the Living God? For me, it’s all-out war against Satan himself.
It is clear why neither Ukraine nor Europe were to be involved in peace discussions: Trump and Putin are not interested in a true and lasting peace, either for Ukraine or Europe. Unfortunately, Europe is weak and divided: America and Russia believe they can exploit this. And the major reason Putin first invaded Ukraine in 2014 was that the Ukrainian people themselves overthrew the Russian-puppet president who had just come to power through manipulated elections. Putin is determined to put his own man in control. That’s why Putin considers ALL Ukrainian presidents elected since 2014 as illegitimate dictators!!!
We have a situation now where both Trump and Putin are currently the biggest threat to world peace. Putin wants more of Europe and Trump wants Gaza, Canada and Greenland. Putin is controlled by his oligarchs and Trump is not a politician but a deal-maker – making deals to enrich his own personal power base. Hitler and Stalin once conspired together to divide Europe. Trump plans to take what he wants in Ukraine and control it as a ‘colony’, taking its minerals as ‘repayment’ of ‘war loans’ – which were not loans. Putin will take his part, creating a so-called ‘neutral zone’ but still controlled by him as punishment for the damage the Ukraine war has done to the Russian economy!
How do we pray? We must support Ukraine. The reason why I started the massive United National Days of Prayer for Ukraine was simple. I said in 2014 after the first Russian invasion that neither military nor politics could or would solve the problem with Russia, only prayer. No other nation has seen ALL Christian denominations totally united in prayer as in Ukraine. In 2022 in a powerful prayer meeting immediately before the full-scale invasion, I prayed that no Russian soldier would enter Kyiv, that the Russian army would be defeated as the Egyptian army was in the Red Sea. No Russians entered Kyiv, and the Ukrainian army has successfully resisted Russia for three years! Finally, I prayed that God would deal with Mr Putin, and that the territorial integrity of Ukraine, as recognised internationally since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, will be fully restored. Ukraine has become a Christian country like no other.
We also desperately need financial help and prayer for my coming evangelism in Kazakhstan over Easter when I will be sharing the Gospel with Kazakh people. We have a very big programme for evangelism this year but need a financial miracle.
