As fulfilment of God’s strategic plan in the vision which He gave me for Europe many years ago, the main mission is ahead of me – the best is yet to come! This year I will be back in Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Poland, and organising our national ‘Days of Prayer’ for Ukraine – and evangelising! I know that many of you are experiencing difficulties, firstly Covid and delays receiving medical care, now the cost of living, and the disruption to transport – so many things. We, like you, are compelled to depend on Scripture for help in time of trouble.

By the time you read this I shall have been in Ukraine for the National Day of Prayer on June 11th and 12th which is being held in Lviv, with live uplinks to churches all over Ukraine, followed by my visit to Kyiv itself, returning on 16th June. The situation in the war is very serious with thousands dying, both soldiers and civilians. God began calling me five years ago to Central Asia, which is now a powerful mission field. That is why I will be in Armenia now, and in November will hold a massive Evangelism in next-door Georgia, so big, it is planned for me to meet with the President of Georgia and the Orthodox Patriarch very soon in order to secure their support for this event to be accepted nationwide!

Thank you for the financial aid to support Ukraine: this money is going to Kyiv, also Poland and Germany, where more than 4 million refugees are being fed, clothed, and given a place to live. As I write I have had a Zoom conference with the leading Bishops in Ukraine – the first interconfessional event since the war started. I have promised our support until total victory, both spiritually and with the aid which you are sending.

Thank you for your fantastic response to our appeal for help for Ukraine. Our staff and their families are safe in Kyiv and our office is undamaged! Even Sergiy, our TV Director, whose family live in Mariupol, have survived the siege and are now on their difficult way to safety. Vadim, our Official Representative in Ukraine, is very active in organising and supplying humanitarian aid. He is working with the church leaders in Kyiv, using the team he set up to organise our National Days of Prayer for Ukraine. They are saddened and horrified as they minister to the survivors of the terrible atrocities in the small towns and villages which were occupied by the Russians north of Kyiv.

We are entering the most troubling time since the end of the Cold War. But it is significant that when, in 1988, I prophesied the collapse of the former Soviet Union and the Iron Curtain, I also prophesied that this would be a short window before a new ‘curtain’ would fall – spiritual, political, and military! This is now being fulfilled and is why I evangelised so massively and effectively in the last 30 years and more.

God has given me a clear mandate and the authority for what He has called me to do, but all of this has to be in God’s perfect timing! The workload is increasing, the evangelism is growing larger, the attacks are becoming stronger, the need for wisdom, strength and finance are at an all-time high! Thank God, as Scripture correctly says, ‘my strength is being renewed like the eagle’! As with Moses, my eye is not dimmed nor my strength diminished, and miraculously God’s arm is not ‘shortened’! Keep praying, giving and encouraging – the end is not yet – but Jesus is coming, probably sooner than any of us expect!

Six years of National Days of Prayer in Ukraine have changed the most atheistic godless nation in Europe! God gave me a vision of how He could demonstrate His power in Europe simply through the power of prayer and the authority of the Bible. Six years ago God gave me a vision to call a National Day of Prayer for Ukraine. Few supported me, but God was in the business of changing men! I called a small meeting of Christian leaders – too few – but God was there! One by one I met the Leading Bishops and Heads of every denomination, and we came into agreement that, if we agree on two things we can work together and break every barrier: First, salvation is only in the Name of Jesus, and second, the only authority in the Church is the Bible! Under this authority all Christian denominations in Ukraine came together and the Government began to recognise God’s Hand at work!
