Resurrection

Proclaming the Kingdom of God with all boldness

Proclaming the Kingdom of God with all boldness

Acts Bible Study Chapters 27&28: These chapters describe Paul's harrowing sea journey, his miraculous survival, and his final arrival in Rome, where he continues his ministry while awaiting trial before Caesar.

In Him we live and move and have our being

In Him we live and move and have our being

Acts Bible Study Chapter 17: ‘…for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising.’ (Acts 17:28-29, NKJV)

Knowing Christ and the Power of His Resurrection

Knowing Christ and the Power of His Resurrection

“My heart’s desire is that I might KNOW CHRIST, AND THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION, and the fellowship of His suffering, being conformed to His death – that I might attain to the Resurrection of the Dead!” Phil 3:10 has always been marked in my Bible. It’s one of my favourite parts of the New Testament! Ultimately, this life is nothing, length of life is nothing (I’m 90!) – because I will live forever with Christ!

Living for Christ and the Resurrection

Living for Christ and the Resurrection

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will perform it until the Day of Christ Jesus.” In this verse the Apostle Paul is referring to the Power of the Holy Spirit in us who believe. This is so important, because the more I study the life of Christ, the more I realise the influence and the Power of the Holy Spirit working in Him, in His life and ministry. Just as the disciples had to wait in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit came, before they could begin their ministry, so Jesus Himself did not begin His powerful public ministry until after He had received the Holy Spirit! Matt 3.16-17; Mk 1.9-12; Luke 3.21. That same Holy Spirit who was in Christ should be in us! And the Holy Spirit who has begun working in us, will continue until the Day Christ returns! Living for Christ (Philippians 1 Bible Study)

Living for Christ (Philippians 1 Bible Study)

We are called to live for Christ through the Power of His resurrection. It is the Holy Spirit which empowers us for ministry and Christian living. Jesus Himself had to be baptised in the Spirit before He entered into Ministry, and for us, it is this same Holy Spirit which was in Christ, that will infill us and make us perfect and complete at the return of Christ.

The Power of the Resurrection

The Power of the Resurrection

I want you to realise, whether you are in suffering, pain, or are facing death, that is only a looking forward to eternity; our resurrection into new life. Too many old people view their lives as behind them. No! Our lives are in front of us. I want you all to grasp this Power of the Resurrection, the Power of this Hope in Christ.
