Healing and forgiveness
The prophet Jeremiah writes, 'I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against Me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against Me, (33.8, NIV). This verse shows how closely linked healing and forgiveness are. God has the power to heal you, but first He wants to forgive your sin.
According to the Will of God, Part 1, (Romans 8)
I want to talk to you on a subject which is very dear to my heart and encourage you to pray, based on a very strong and powerful experience in my life from Romans 8.
In 1964, as many of you know, I was diagnosed with throat cancer. I had refused ALL medical treatment. Yes, I had had the X-rays and the camera down my throat, many different tests, and every one of them confirmed that I had throat cancer. But I determined to pray my way through, in part because I was pastor of a church which had been founded on my evangelism and the miracles that took place in that evangelism. The miracles were recorded in the local newspaper – blind eyes, deaf ears opened, cripples healed! So I determined, NO medical treatment, I’ll fast and I’ll pray and God will heal me!
The Power of God revealed
This pandemic is an unprecedented crisis. So often I quote the Scripture from Romans 1:16, I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the Power of God! Whatever nation we live in, politicians and scientists do not have the answer, but God does! He is revealing His Power now! Jesus was revealed to destroy the works of the enemy.
The healing touch of Jesus
In Luke 8:45, a woman in great distress because of an incurable sickness came to Jesus. Jesus KNEW she had reached out to Him, because He felt virtue pass to her. Like her, you are not able to physically touch Jesus, but you can reach out to Him through prayer and worship. Whatever your problem: whether it is sickness, financial or other distress, come to Jesus. And like with that woman, He will turn around and say, “Child of Mine, go in peace, your faith has healed you.”
Power through difficulties
It is only through testings and trials that we learn who God is and what He can do; if we never had a problem, we would never know what faith in God could do. We all pray more when we are in distress; yet it is through difficulties we learn to trust God, to believe for miracles. God will use every difficulty to refine us, so that we become the person He can use for His glory. Lessons from 70 years of ministry: 'For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance.' Never Give Up! Dramatic Healing Testimony
In March 2013, Anton, who had experienced a dramatic miracle ten years prior in Perm, Russia, stood on the platform with David Hathaway in Israel and gave his amazing testimony: how when he was living in Russia he was dying in hospital from gangrene in his leg and hepatitis; how his grandmother insisted David prayed with him; how David visited him in the hospital and told him not to allow the doctors to cut his leg off - although this would mean certain death. Yet, Anton believed God and the healing came.
A God of Miracles (Healed of Throat Cancer)
I know Jesus is alive, I talked with Him this morning. The reality of our relationship with Christ is in knowing Him. I talk to Him, He talks to me. Receiving my healing from throat cancer many years ago led me into a more positive experience in my Christian life: the realisation that if God says it in His Word then He will always do it!
Healed of Cancer
The Scripture teaches that Jesus healed all who came to Him. Jesus is not only able to heal you, but He also has the desire to heal you. He wants you to be well and live a healthy life. In 2003, I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer, and God worked a miracle; this is my testimony and encouragement for you.
