God so loved us

God so loved us

1 John 4 Bible Study: 'Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: he sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.' (1 John 4)

How can I have eternal life?

How can I have eternal life?

I love what Daniel 11.32 says, 'Those who know their God will be strong and do exploits'. What does it mean to do exploits? A born again Christian who really knows God will do the things that nobody else can do; exploits are a life of adventure, achievement and triumph.

Committed to God and the Word of Grace

Committed to God and the Word of Grace

Acts Bible Study Chapter 20: ‘Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood… Now I commit you to God and to the word of His grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.’

Salvation by grace

Salvation by grace

Acts Bible Study Chapter 15: For by Grace we are saved, through faith and not of ourselves, a Gift of God, not of works, so that we cannot boast, (Ephesians 2.8-9). Our salvation is by faith alone, nothing else. SAVED by FAITH. Not by religious observance, tradition or any ordinances of the Church, or by what we have done. We are SAVED by FAITH IN CHRIST! We receive salvation as a free gift! A GIFT! And like every gift, you can accept or refuse. It’s SO SIMPLE. Salvation is GIVEN to us! A GIFT from GOD OUR FATHER, and we receive it THROUGH CHRIST by faith alone!
