Jesus is interceding for us. NOW! God the Father has EXALTED Christ above everything – given Him the Highest Name, the Highest Place, the Greatest Power – ALL this God has put in Christ when He exalted Him – AND THAT IS OUR INHERITANCE! People ask me to pray for them, and of course I do, if you are sick, if you have a need, I pray for you, as Paul also did. But the GREATEST Intercessor is Jesus Himself. He’s in the Presence of the Father, at the Right Hand of the Father – praying for YOU!
My earnest desire is that you receive a Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, that you may KNOW what is the Hope of God’s Calling and what the riches of the Glory of His Inheritance in the Saints. The Apostle Paul prays in Ephesians 1 that the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened, opened – to receive this REVELATION! Unless you receive the Holy Spirit, you can never fully comprehend who Jesus is, and all that He means to us! That you might KNOW what the Hope of His Calling is. He has called us, chosen us. Jesus said, “You have not chosen Me, I have chosen you and ordained you that you would bring forth fruit, and that your fruit would remain.” John 15:16. We are called of God!
God chose us in Christ, before the foundation of the world! We have to understand the foreknowledge of God! BEFORE we were born, when we were in our mother’s womb, God foreordained a plan and a purpose for our lives! That we should be ‘holy and without blame before Him in love’! We live one day at a time, yet God sees all our days. I cannot over-emphasise the peace that I have, and the peace that you should have - and this peace is based on God’s foreknowledge!
I want you to possess all the blessings of God! The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 1, ‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.’ To most of us, the ‘heavenly places’ are Heaven itself, something future. But what Paul is saying, is that God has blessed us NOW with all spiritual blessings – blessings which we should now be enjoying!
Do you want to see the Fire of God? An answer to prayer? Through prayer, call for and expect an answer to the specifics of your problem. Whoever you are. We have to re-examine prayer. If we today would pray like Solomon, with such Authority and such Power so that the Glory of God would come down! I urge you to read the entirety of Solomon’s prayer in 2 Chronicles 6&7 - it is one of the greatest examples of intercession in the Bible; there is so much we can learn here.
I want to see the Church break out of its traditions and constraints! Out of this pandemic I desire to see an outpouring of the Holy Spirit; to see miracles; for Holy Ghost Fire! God can do it! There is only one way to revival today: it is to stand firm on Biblical faith and through suffering and prayer, with repentance, God will honour us. That is why Jesus said, if you will come after Me, take up your cross and follow Me.
I want to teach you how to pray and see miracles in your life. Romans 8 says, ‘When we know not what to pray for as we ought, the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us.’ Simply talk to God as you would a friend. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Miracles happen by the simple way in which we relate and communicate with Him. God is present, He’s the unseen guest, the silent listener to every conversation. I know God is there, He is listening. Before we ask, He’s already heard everything; He knows what is in our heart, what we think, what we want, what we need, but He wants us to put it into words. God has promised to pour out His Spirit on all flesh in the last days. Many individual believers, churches and even nations are waiting for revival, believing for the latter rain as spoken by the Prophet Joel. I believe we are living in that day! God wants to stir us into action; that is why He allows the crisis! Today we are facing the greatest challenge ever to the church and indeed to our faith.
I want to challenge you to live in the Fire of God, to re-consecrate your life to Jesus. When did you last hear God speak and you replied, “here I am Lord”? When Moses said, “Here I am”, God began to deal with him. The spark from the Fire got into the soul of Moses, restored and commissioned him to deliver Israel. I want that Fire in my life. I want something new from God. I want to get into the Fire where it’s hot; I want to fell the heat, the power and the glory of God.
God wants to fill you with His Fire, to send you out as witnesses to His greatness. God will take what is in your hand and use it as the demonstration of His Power. Don’t be afraid of the wonders He does; don’t run away or shrink back in fear. Grab hold of God and see what He will do through you!
