Miracles

My God works miracles

My God works miracles

My God works miracles. He never changes, nor do His promises. What you read in the Bible can still happen in your life today. In Psalm 119, one phrase appears repeatedly – “according to thy word”. You find it at least seven times in different contexts, particularly in verse 170: “Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.” The Bible is God’s Word and cannot lie; it must happen as God has promised. All the promises of man are meaningless compared to the might and power of God.

Our relationship with God through Jesus

Our relationship with God through Jesus

The reality of our relationship with Christ is not in repeating prayers and phrases, it’s KNOWING Him. I talk to Him, He talks to me! The more I read the Bible, the more convinced I am that the most important thing after our salvation, is our relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s not just our worship, not the length of our prayers, nor how much we read the Bible, it is the FAITH we have in Him, how much we TRUST Him! That is the only thing that clearly, unmistakably marks our relationship with Jesus Christ.

How to know God and work miracles

How to know God and work miracles

'The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits' (Daniel 11.32, KJV). The key is to KNOW God – and He will do great things! The Scripture says, the people of Israel saw the miracles God did, but Moses KNEW God’s ways – God made them known to him. This is so important – to KNOW God.

God has come to deliver

God has come to deliver

Jesus is the only one who can deliver! He wants to reach out to you! You need to find Him, not just for your miracle of healing, but to be set free and delivered. Addressing the Day of Prayer in Armenia, “I believe God has called me at this strategic time to your nation. Armenia is facing a crisis, but all our times are in God’s Hands – and that’s why we’re here together today. this is God’s message to you: ‘I have seen your misery, I have heard your cry, and I am come down to deliver.’ God – your God – is already here!

Showing the world the Glory and Power of God

Showing the world the Glory and Power of God

My desire is that the world should see the Glory and Power of God. In 1 Chronicles 28, King David commissions his son Solomon to build the Temple by saying, 'It was my desire to build a Temple where the Ark of the Covenant could rest permanently.' This was to be such a resplendent representation of the majesty of our God. Today, we are not building a physical Temple, but the Glory of God can be seen through the works we do for Him. Jesus said in Matthew 5, 'Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.'

The Power of God to deliver you

The Power of God to deliver you

I thank God for the Gospel of Jesus Christ; it is the Power of God at work, saving everyone who believes — the Jew first and also the Gentile (Romans 1.16). As I look back over my life, it is now 50 years since God miraculously released me from a communist prison — and 30 years since I evangelised in the Dynamo Stadium, in Kyiv. It was during that difficult time in the prison, God revealed Himself as my Father in a most special way; it was as if I experienced the Glory of Heaven in that prison cell.

Discovering the greatness of God

Discovering the greatness of God

All my life I've desired to see the greatness of our God. I want to explore His greatness and discover more of His Power. The older I become, the more I understand who God is. For 16 years I was a pastor, but at heart I was an evangelist. Even when I was at school I was evangelising; I led my teacher to Christ, and two of the boys in my class became preachers. ‘For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.’ (Romans 1.16, KJV)

God your deliverer

God your deliverer

We must expect God to move in Power today. In Exodus 3:2 the Angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in a flame of fire in the middle of a bush. Moses was not expecting to meet with God, and he did not see Him, he simply saw a BUSH ON FIRE. If you were walking along the street, and you saw a tree on fire, you would go and look. But when Moses looked, it was not normal, the fire was in the tree, but the tree was not burnt! It was the evidence of the presence of God like burning fire!
