As fulfilment of God’s strategic plan in the vision which He gave me for Europe many years ago, the main mission is ahead of me – the best is yet to come! This year I will be back in Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Poland, and organising our national ‘Days of Prayer’ for Ukraine – and evangelising! I know that many of you are experiencing difficulties, firstly Covid and delays receiving medical care, now the cost of living, and the disruption to transport – so many things. We, like you, are compelled to depend on Scripture for help in time of trouble.

By the time you read this I shall have been in Ukraine for the National Day of Prayer on June 11th and 12th which is being held in Lviv, with live uplinks to churches all over Ukraine, followed by my visit to Kyiv itself, returning on 16th June. The situation in the war is very serious with thousands dying, both soldiers and civilians. God began calling me five years ago to Central Asia, which is now a powerful mission field. That is why I will be in Armenia now, and in November will hold a massive Evangelism in next-door Georgia, so big, it is planned for me to meet with the President of Georgia and the Orthodox Patriarch very soon in order to secure their support for this event to be accepted nationwide!

Thank you for the financial aid to support Ukraine: this money is going to Kyiv, also Poland and Germany, where more than 4 million refugees are being fed, clothed, and given a place to live. As I write I have had a Zoom conference with the leading Bishops in Ukraine – the first interconfessional event since the war started. I have promised our support until total victory, both spiritually and with the aid which you are sending.

Thank you for your fantastic response to our appeal for help for Ukraine. Our staff and their families are safe in Kyiv and our office is undamaged! Even Sergiy, our TV Director, whose family live in Mariupol, have survived the siege and are now on their difficult way to safety. Vadim, our Official Representative in Ukraine, is very active in organising and supplying humanitarian aid. He is working with the church leaders in Kyiv, using the team he set up to organise our National Days of Prayer for Ukraine. They are saddened and horrified as they minister to the survivors of the terrible atrocities in the small towns and villages which were occupied by the Russians north of Kyiv.

Our hope is in Christ! Only He can bring peace to Ukraine. We need to pray effectively and powerfully. I am praying that Ukraine will not be defeated, that Kyiv will not be captured and victory over Russia will show the Power of Prayer in that nation. Just as we remember the 7 National Days of Prayer in Britain – and the fact that on every occasion there was a decisive victory in the war against Hitler, Dunkirk being the most memorable, it was because of prayer – now it’s Ukraine’s time to prove the effectiveness of prayer to deliver a nation.

I want to pray for you that you would experience God’s peace this Christmas. I am very aware that Christmas is hard for those who are lonely, bereaved, the sick, and for those who are separated from their families for whatever reason. I rejoice that my youngest daughter works with me in the ministry, but I also have a daughter who lives in Australia, and because of Covid restrictions, she has been unable to fly back to the UK, so I have not seen her in a long time. I am also concerned for the sick, that they would receive a healing touch from Jesus.

God has given me a clear mandate and the authority for what He has called me to do, but all of this has to be in God’s perfect timing! The workload is increasing, the evangelism is growing larger, the attacks are becoming stronger, the need for wisdom, strength and finance are at an all-time high! Thank God, as Scripture correctly says, ‘my strength is being renewed like the eagle’! As with Moses, my eye is not dimmed nor my strength diminished, and miraculously God’s arm is not ‘shortened’! Keep praying, giving and encouraging – the end is not yet – but Jesus is coming, probably sooner than any of us expect!

Pray for the National Day of Prayer for Ukraine on Saturday June 12th. We have just received the final report from the Bishops’ Organising Committee in Kiev. We expect everything to go ahead, the Ukraine government have given us special privilege in that the Covid restrictions will not apply to us on that day. The government regard this as priority – the only government in Europe to encourage and enable this National Day of Prayer.

I only live for God and to see His Power as I have seen it in the Sanctuary! Psalm 63:2. Yes, I want to be like Moses, Elijah, David, and like Joshua, to lead God’s People into the Promised Land! We used to sing such wonderful songs when I was a pastor: ‘Hold the Fort for I am coming, Jesus signals still, wave the answer back to Heaven, by God’s grace we will!’ And together with you, we WILL! What happens in the ministry of Eurovision is only possible because of God’s miraculous support. But you are so much a part, you as supporters, along with at least one hundred overseas staff, most of whom are volunteers: we work as a team!

We allow nothing to stop God’s work! Because we work in Ukraine on a national basis with every denomination and the government, we have been offered a provisional date to hold the National Day of Prayer on June 12th in the big Sports Palace in Kiev which holds 10,000, but provisionally, at 50% capacity. This is the only country in Europe which is so desperate to call the whole nation to prayer that the national TV channels will broadcast it and involve the whole nation.

Christmas Greetings
In this year of lockdown and restriction, I want to encourage you: love is greater than distance! You may not be with your family, but that doesn't diminish the love you feel for them. Just as it is with Jesus! I shall not see Jesus in the flesh this year, and hopefully not for many years, but this only strengthens the relationship and love He has for me and I for Him!

We’re now in a time which none of us had anticipated – the government telling us how to operate our churches and our worship! Who could have imagined that a UK government could cancel Christmas, or that Israel would close its borders and cancel the Jewish New Year? However, our ministry is particularly strong In Israel where the families of the Holocaust survivors need your help more than ever because of a total lockdown since the recent increase of the Covid virus. Our teams of volunteers supply food and other necessities and use this as a means of ministry and bringing the Gospel into people’s homes, opening the hearts of non-religious Jews to the reality of the message of the Gospel of their Messiah!
